Bannofan
I must say, I'd completely forgotten je existed. Ten Haag is being quoted as saying he is on a specialist training plan as he isnt fit enough, and that footballers are humans and not machines. There is a hint that his mental health at the moment isn't in a place conducive to top flight football. It's such a shame, as the lad was excellent at Dortmund and seemed to enjoy life there. Maybe home sickness brought him back to Manchester, but it was a strange transfer as it was the one position they were well covered in. Could be a cautionary tale for Jude Bellingham.
Kopparberg
It’s a strange one. The Man U move just doesn’t seem right for him. I think he’ll come back eventually, Ten Haag seems to like to improve wide players. Ten Haag seems to expect hard work. I want Sancho doing well - for the sake of himself and the England squad. I just have a feeling that if he’d gone to City he’d be doing much better.
CalmJimmers
The media is all over players here, especially English ones, especially young English ones. Can see why players move abroad. Less scrutiny, better lifestyle, chance of getting a European passport etc.

Southie_Owl
Could see him going out on loan back to Germany this month to get some confidence back.
Skyline
The Ronaldo signing killed it for him. They were starting to build a team and bring in some good younger players. Then once Ronaldo signed that all changed and I think they expected Ronny to drive them forward. There's a player in there but I don't think we'll see it at Man Utd.
Bannofan
Reading the latest on Jadon Sancho : "Manchester United are willing to subsidise England winger Jadon Sancho's £300,000-a-week wages in order to offload the 23-year-old on loan in January if he continues to refuse to apologise to manager Erik ten Hag." You have to worry about young players appetite for the game when they are earning so much money. A millionaire every month, he and his family members are set for life. If there is a mental health problem leading to a decrease in enjoyment of the game, I can see some retiring really early. Maybe the Dele Alli situation will become more common place, players who are financially sorted and will be able to live a an amazing life without any further pressure - must be tempting just to jack it in, especially when you have reached the top and are only seemingly going back down again like Sancho and Alli. Also read that Eden Hazard has retired at 32, and really he hasn't done anything since he left Chelsea. I've also got a feeling that Raheem Sterling will also retire in the next couple of seasons. SiJ
He's pants. Impressively slow for a wide forward/winger type. Seemingly has a bad attitude too. 2 minutes ago, Bannofan said: Also read that Eden Hazard has retired at 32, and really he hasn't done anything since he left Chelsea. Tbf, he's had so many injuries since he moved to Real...though the fact he was never the best at looking after himself probably caught him up. Great player though in his pomp. trev
If they are willing to subsidise about 295000 per week....we could be in business.
