Supporter Engamement

Recommended Posts

Given up on this guy.

Highest ticket prices in the league, let players who cost millions leave for free, sold the stadium, yet still been under numerous transfer embargos, a points deduction, and on our way to League One... and then, and only then, does he start talking about balancing the books of a business he took over, which was losing millions, only for him to saddle with even more costs.

How many more years of him and his experienced "SMT" making blunder after blunder are we going to have to endure before the penny drops that it's not working?

I'm starting to think Mr Chansiri is a Sheffield United fan because surely to God, he can't be this stupid, surely?

He’s so irritatingly incompetent.

The club’s finance are a complete disgrace. That was our position pre-Covid.

Chansiri is the sole person with responsibility and accountability for all of the club’s finances so he should act like a leader and accept he’s got it wrong and he’s out of his depth.

Is that likely? I’m sure he’d sooner blame bad customers, sorry fans, or a turd he saw on the street before accepting he is the one to blame

It doesn’t matter how much DC collects in revenue from the fans, we could raise £100m a season paying more than anyone else in world football and he’d still p*ss it all away

Every club signs the occasional dud but the money this club has wasted on players that don’t play in these past 6 years must add up to an obscene amount

Melo

Bus

Vermijl

Lachman

Mcgeady

Matias

Sougou

Abdi

Mcmanaman

20 players there who contributed very little to zero during their stay

I have to say I have read the 5 pages and have to simply ask what is the point?

Every query raised was ignored by DC and his experienced team that in their 6 years have taken a mid-table championship team losing £5m a season to a relegation certainty championship team losing £20m a season and homeless due to the level of debt the 'experience team' have allowed to build up.

It is clear to anyone with an IQ over 1 to see that the current system is failing massively and qualified football people are needed instead DC and his team continue to place their fingers in their ears when anyone question that they don't know what they are doing.

As for the farce answer with ticket prices do what you want DC - but if we are in the third division next season and you are charging £30+ for the game you will be he only team in the league playing in front of no fans, when other team fans are allowed back in the stadium.

The reason you are struggling to balance the books is the millions being wasted on players who never play - Rhodes barely played until the new manager came in - just the £2m wasted on his salary yearly for the last 4 years, Westwood £1m a season to play less than 20 games, Marriott, & Brown millions wasted for them to never play, Dunkley a crock when we signed him still a crock now. When someone with dodgy knees in Hutch is a better fitness certainty than Luongo you know you have signed yet another crock.

When he talks about balancing the book maybe just maybe he should balance the playing staff with players that can play 46 league games a season instead of a squad of 28 players that 19 players have made few than 20 starts this season.

But I am sure it will be the fault of EFL's, fans, Covid etc not the bloke and his experienced team.

So seeing as you know best submit the plan to the club as requested by the club showing how you can make it better??

Read the notes, can’t see why the anger?

If you ask the same question that’s been answered multiple times at every forum you will see the same answer.

Credit to Chansiri when being asked that they wanted someone else from the playing side he call Darren Moore to join the call and he commits to joint future sessions.

As fans we’ve got to stop living off past mistakes! It’s about where now. The fundamentals are become better at the club, even with Covid!

League 1 needs to spark a pulling together in the fan base via this engagement NOT more bitter infighting.

We could do loads of stuff but it will never happen because we have a control freak in charge.

Under DC there is only one source of income the fans.

We are probably the lowest in the league for advertising and sponsorship, we lose money in the shop and do no business on none match days.

Every other club make more in all these areas.
