First half on Saturday we were vulnerable because as often happens Hutch was sitting deep while Bannan and Lee were quite forward , not really marking , leaving holes in midfield which their little ball players loved. Hutch was chasing shadows and got booked for a stupid challenge. When we had the ball we created chances, but they played through us easily as their goal showed. Second half something changed. We were a lot more compact and dominated midfield. No idea what we did to change it but probably stopped Hutch dropping. When he goes too deep , the back four drops and we are too stretched as a team. Playing Luongo instead of Hutch would be a major change. He wouldn’t sit, might drop Bannan deeper instead. Whatever it would change the way we play in midfield. However I think we might see Luongo instead of Lee not Hutch.
sonofbert2
Something to consider is GM knows a lot about a good few of their players. Might have some influence on our line up/tactics.
