Yeah i'd be inclined to agree. I only had Hutch in the middle for symmetry purposes. Allowing Hutch to move into midfield more freely. A bit like what Wolves look to do with Connor Coady

Mind, always thought Sam uses the ball much better than he gets credit for.

ME too. I remember the inch perfect ball to Palmer away at Newcastle at a couple at home to Barnsley (I think) where he pinged them cross field. Good footballer our Sam.

But it doesn't work.

 

Last season, away from home, we were considerably more successful without FF up front.
