sonofbert2
It's easy to forget amongst the mayhem just how many key players we have been without at times this season.
Morepork
Devastating loss, I can't imagine how much a like for like replacement would cost.
oldishowl
Somehow , and it is a mystery, Lee always manages to be in the area of the pitch where the ball is. This means he is basically supporting every player in the team. Intercepts balls in midfield, supports and covers for the full backs and runs past the strikers. His running and reading of the game are exceptional. Too many players were isolated tonight, nobody to help or pass to. Abdi needs to play , he at least looks like he has some energy. Jim
When he was out for a long spell when Jones was manager we missed him and he wasn't as regarded as key a player for us then as he is now.
Bluesteel
We really do miss him. I'm not sure why we didn't try and sign players who offer what he does (and FF)
Box_Man
It's 50/50 for me, those little triangles of pass and move football him and Bannan were so used to playing last season releasing a bombing on full back or playing Nando in are long gone because for some reason Carlos has changed the way we press and move the ball. we weren't great earlier in the season when Kerian was playing but he is a big miss especially makes you appreciate him more when you see Jones who is one of the slowest most immobile players I have ever seen playing in central midfield. Owls77
Do we think we never signed a replacement because his recovery is going better than expected? (Crosses everything) Up there with the best midfielders in the Championship!

Would possibly extend having Hooper out for 10-12 games has been a bit of a miss too. Just said as much in OMDT. Can't be underestimated losing Hutch and Lee from our MF. Lees out is not good either but Sasso was decent replacement.
