gurujuan
Where ever we finish we are just a hard working side that lacks good attacking players. Decent back four and a few other decent players but we've hit a wall.Without further investment we'll just be a mid table team that doesn't score or concede many. Yeah better place now than where we have been but how long do we just be mediocre. Not too gutted but slightly disappointed atm Pretty much, and we will continue to struggle in our home matches where the onus is on us to break sides down. It was always going to be a tough ask against Watford but I'm not convinced that we can even overcome lesser sides with our current attacking options. whyte_owl
Gray is totally blameless, well apart from the bonkers decision to field a weakened side against City, that really drained our confidence, if anything, our overachieving in the first few games allowed the chairman to renege on his promise to support the manager. Well he needs to do it now or we will continue to slide down the table. Agree.
scram
We are not fortunate enough to enjoy the harvest that Watford can reap - but neither are the majority of the clubs in the division Being realistic we can easily look to compete with 70% of the clubs who we come up against - and that's being pessimistic tbh So many clubs are much of a muchness - the difference between the pay-offs and relegation survivors will be minimal
modboy
Imo the SG and MM partnership suits both. SG ain't gonna moan too much as this is probably the biggest job he will ever have, whilst MM doesn't need to really back SG beyond survival. Its the perfect status quo for both manager and chairman

His form history as a manager is repeating again though it seems
Orlando_Trustful
As another poster said a few weeks ago, Gray has a free pass as far as I'm concerned. The guy has worked miracles over nearly a year with what is generally a poor squad on one of the smallest budgets in the league. Even finishing 18th would be about our par. We ain't going nowhere fast.
