dw_sheffwed
Wish we had a right winger so we could play him in the number 10 role, just behind the striker, that's where he would thrive. May needs service and little passes and through balls, now maguire wouldn't get much in the air but nuhiu is no good a flicking a header on. torres
Agree with that. Seems a bit of a waste out wide in a 4.

SHUowl
Pretty much all his good form for Wednesday has been while playing on the right? True but if we only played him as a goalkeeper he'd only get good form there too.

IstillhateSteveBould
I wouldn't mind seeing him and Maghoma swap wings. Maghoma has a bit more pace to get to the byline (if he learns how to cross), and Maguire looks deadly when he can cut inside and have bang. Guest Strap
Could have swore that when he scored and the announcer was announcing the goal scorer he said; "And goalscorer for the Owls and sponsored by ISIS recruitment is number 10 Chris Maguire". There's a problem right there.

This, I was thinking about it last night when talking to snoots and reg, if they prefer not to cross but rather pass or shoot (which we can see they do) then we might as well see them switch on the wings so when they cut in they're on their proffered foot and either have a dig from a decent angle or slide stevie May through on those runs he keeps making. It's definitely something we should utilise more often, even it isn't a regular thing. Mix things up a bit. Could have given us something extra last night in a game we were clearly struggling to create anything in.

Guest
Behind a front two is where i wanna see Maguire play , were crying out for a winger but if we can get Buxton fit and move palmer to RM it would release Maguire to play through the middle Edited August 20, 2014 by S6owl_1867

Wednesday_Jack
I thought Maguire last night was poor (goal aside). His touch was missing, physically he didn't seem strong enough and his corners from the last 2 games have been a bit poor.

rob_owl_92
Said when we first got promoted and signed Maguire that I would like to see him play upfront with Madine. Think they did for first 30 minutes against Oldham and we were poo ! I still think those 2 up top would be our best option however. May will take some time to get used to playing against this level of defending. Madine's a better player these days and is more of a goal threat than Nuhiu and I always feel that if we're going to do something in a game it's going to come from Maguire

I thought the same on Saturday as well, he just doesn't seem at it at the moment although it's still early days.
