owls maniac
Can't see them challenging for the top two after that, unless they get a few more players in. And yeh Deffo a great performance by us, still seem to be lacking something. Gutted about lee going off. Composure in the final third.
cross owl
For the first time in years all our players look comfortable on the ball and look for a pass rather than just wanting rid of it . Derby will be around automatic and early days but three games and three clean sheets arent to be sniffed at . Beat millwall and top six by Tuesday night :-)
Kanye West
It's Derby county not Real Madrid. Get a grip. We should be smashing them off park first game of season This was our second game.
full fathom five
Last season we couldn't match them going 4, 4, 2. This season we matched them and at times bettered them playing 4, 4, 2. Progression. Well done today Wednesday, a couplr of quality additions to start or be able to change the game off the bench and we should be fine. Guest HighGreen_Owl
A draw was a fair result. Derby a class side at this level. Play it right way and have quality. We will do alright this season if we can keep that first 11 fit that played today. On early form we're a midtable side. Add a bit more quality and depth and we might do better. Midtable is a success for us this year.
cross owl
Id love a mid table . A nice drama less season and all season well out of the relegation spots will do me this year :-)
theowlsman
Great. People getting excited at matching derby county. This is what football has become. Think it's always going to happen that you judge your performances against the best the division has to offer. We've been a lower half Championship team for too long but there are signs of better things to come. It won't be long before teams are judging themselves against Sheffield Wednesday if we can add a bit more quality
owls maniac
Very complementary of us on here http://dcfcfans.co.uk/topic/16056-sheffield-wednesday-v-derby-county/page-
Lawrie Madden
More than matched them I thought we deserved 3 points today
mike312
I thought they were organised and passed it around at the back nicely but once they came forward they were a bit lightweight (although martin is a big lad). They are obviously going to be up there come the end of the season but tbh I think we had more chances and certainly came closest to scoring.
