Guest UpTheOwlsss
Top end of championship and we would be looking at 28-30k average! Which would put us around 12th
beef
So, up from 25th last season, and sneaking into the 'Premiership of attendances'. We had the 14th highest biggest gate of the season as well. Full spreadsheet here for those of you that like to play with that kind of stuff. >inb4 'Wendies obsessed with attendances' technically we didn't have the 14th biggest gate of the season as every one of Man U, Newcastle, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, Sunderland home games had bigger attendances

Guest Deleted member
To be fair to Utd - they only lost 100 fans on the previous season Given the dross theyve had to put up with - thats pretty good

31Dec1966
Astonishingly loyal support, best in the country. Don't forget we didn't put offers on every game like United. Our fans paid the going rate even after losing 7 consecutive games! Top six next year and we could get 13th place. If we got back to the PL I think we'd be in the top 10. I think I'm right in saying we have averaged over 20,000 in thje last decade despite most of it being the most demoralising period in our history. I think only the 2 manchester clubs and MAYBE Liverpool and Arsenal (it's never been tested) could match that. Well done to all of us, Up the Owls. Guest We Shall Overcome
A geezer i know who watches Brighton tells me they give away 3,000 + every game to attract the students and make the attendances look better.

Guest GreenGoose
That 29th in Europe thing is nonsense. That table obly includes a certain few European teams. Athletico? Ajax? Marseille? Etc We are making ourselves look rather foolish.

Utah Owl
3rd biggest Metropolitan Borough in England. 18th biggest attendances. Puts it into perspective a bit. How many clubs in that borough though Vic? If you want to put things in perspective best start putting accurate information out there. Also 7th largest connurbation, not 3rd.
