Ah happy days!

 

I am sure we beat them 3-1 the season after at Hillsborough too. I remember Alexandersson scoring.

 

If only we had kept Big Ron!

Thanks for that video. Loved that game. Although for some reason I always thought Di Canios goal was at the away end.

Those were the days!!!! Remember when we won that game it did not seem that big a deal beating Man U as we did it most seasons at Hillsborough.

I was sat at the bottom of the south that day & was right in front of Di Canio when he celebrated on his knees!

i was only 13 at that the time & talked about it for weeks lol

Absolutely love Di Canio's celebrations when he scored............always looked like he'd just won the World Cup when he did  lol

Pressman, Barrett, Walker, Nicol, Atherton, Pembridge (Whittingham), Carbone, Di Canio (Oakes), Booth, Stefanovic. 

 

Subs not used: Clarke, Mayrleb, Nolan.
