Progress

Wind back to the last time we played Peterborough.

A depressing midweek game at Hillsborough where Peterborough ran riot, they were running away with promotion and we were a shambles losing 4 - 1.

We've had our low points already this season, but results like the one today shows we are making steady progress bearing in mind where we have come from. Obviously it was a tight game today but we deserved the win and we are a far cry from that league one side.

I'd get a bid in for George Boyd though lol

Boyd would have been a cracking signing last summer.

If Barkley doesn't stay till the end of the season,

then we should put in a cheeky bid for Boyd in January.

Performances have been a lot better the past four or five games.

We have to take it game by game, stay strong no matter the results.

And if and when we do lose again, bounce back again like we have.

Not to get too carried away though, bear in mind the last two games

have been against Ipswich and Peterborough. Its a tough league

but signs are slightly more optimistic again now. UTO! :D

Pressure was on DJ for both the Ipswich game and the game against Peterborough today. Can't ask for anymore than 2 wins. Hopefully it'll give us the momentum and belief to kick on now we've pushed out the bottom 3.

It's a big part of our season already. A couple more wins will see us into mid-table looking above us whereas a couple of defeats will see us looking over our shoulders again.

Chuffed with 2 wins on the spin though. It'll do the team a world of confidence.

Reckon we have a good chance of getting something at Blackpool too. They seem to be in some disarray at the moment.

yeah I reckon we've been a bit lucky at playing them now, I reckon they'll pick up with a new manager so lets make the most of it

That's what I'm thinking and if we can get all 3 pts it will make the table look much more attractive.
