bradowl
Stadiums are rubbish too... That Bramall Lane is a reet hole, its that unsafe they cant use all rows of seats in upper tier.

Guest TonyOwl88
Its easy to make assumptions like that, but we beat West Ham and drew twice with Blackpool (after 90 mins) so our team was pretty capable at that level if you look at it like that. Fair to say with Charlton and ourselves struggling though, we didn't strengthen as effectively as we hoped. You tell me whether that backs up your point or not? james o connor
it should be obvious to even the most stupidiest of wednesday fans that its a totally different ball game . as for beating west ham reserves last season ,doesnt rreally count for a lot especially considering we comfortabl beat fulham less than 2 months ago

trevdi9
yep right last years team got us promoted this years team are dropping us backwards ,i may be deluded but a team that wins against a team that loses , yep you are right, must be better
victorturner
August was a successful month but September was not. That needs thinking about. Although last year's team was lucky to be promoted, and wasn't good enough to survive this season, some had already left in the summer. And more of last season's players were coping well in August than newer players in September and October!

Almat
anyone who thinks our team isnt better now are deluded At this moment in time the current team may have 'better' players but they really aren't a better team. Potential is one thing, being good on paper is also, putting it into practice on grass is another thing altogether.
Guest hayden lewis
so if southampton had not improved their squad this season they would be top of the premier

But are you seriously arguing that last season's team were good enough for this division?

trevdi9
still won whether or not blackburn bolton or wolves , it's about having the fight and wherewithall to raise your game ,tbh one can only guess who would be better and to be honest the first few matches we were winning until it was changed , since then we have done zilch .
