BarnsleyOwl_ Posted August 23, 2012 Share Posted August 23, 2012 I reckon anything between 22-25 would be an IDEAL number at this level, you can't really afford to be carrying passengers that never play. In league one you can get away with it because many are not on high wages i.e Daniel Jones or Giles Coke but not in the championship. I think that Mike Jones and Coke might do a decent job in some Championship squads but it strikes me that the DJ/MM aim is for us to go hell for leather for the holy grail this season and I doubt that DJ sees these lads contributing much to that goal. There's was a period just after DJ came in where he was getting games quite regularly and was impressing me, but then he seemed to just get dropped for no reason?
