Hoofs to nowhere, no pace, gets turned to easily, rubbish free-kicks. the guy really is a bad player, amazes me people actually rate the lad. I can see where you are coming from though. At times there are opportunities for him to pass then get forward but he much prefers to play from deep and so doesn't get into areas to really effect the game in open play enough. We have height advantage on most teams and so should have a large enough danger area to hit set plays into with pace to cause problems but his outswinging corners are often over hit and his free kicks too often hit the 1st man. To say he was poor today is wrong though, he worked hard enough from start to finish and their central midfield rarely overan ours. I just feel he needs to offer more as the creative midfielder against the lesser sides in the division as he should be having a bigger impact for a promotion chasing side.
