Guest Big Guns
He wasn't, and he still isn't that good better than any striker weve got by a mile.
gurujuan
No chance doesn't have the quality of Morrison or Mellor. He is though a very effective player who has learnt to use his limited ability to the max, so fair play to the guy.
Guest Big Guns
Thats exactly what people said about Mellor - Preston don't want him, must be crap. yes look what happened to fergie junior he got the bullet and preston are bottom think sven knows what hes doing
Bluesteel
He's a target man, which is something I think we have been missing this season at times. He'd give defences something different to worry about thats for sure, but I'd be lying if I was to say it was an exciting signing fit for the Championship, he hasnt pulled up any trees at that level. vulva
Decent player is Fallon, but very similar to what we have, and I would argue no better. We need some more pace in the team. Other than Johnson, we look a slow side.
EcclesallOwl
Danny Rose just been on SSN saying he'll be looking for a new club in january for a loan, what do we reckon?
straddyowl97
true. do we really need a striker? we need a centre back to replace purse and another defender who can cover if required. seen eddie nolan mentioned a few times - anybody know his situation? i.e. is he getting a game at preston/is he available? i liked him last year, for a player on loan he showed often more passion and committment to the cuase than the rest of the jokers that took us down and he is versatile - defenders priority for me. eddie nolan has only just joined scunny in the summer...and is a regular so i doubt he would leave to come to us
BRUCE LEE
He's as mad as a hatter but he's decent player is Fallon. Very strong in the air. Would score in League 1.

Guest Darkus Owlus
This would be a tragic signing, I'd cry bloody tears if he signed.
Guest Briscoe Inferno
Irvine can sign all the additional strikers he wants but without a decent midfield it is simply a waste of money. Hoof...........

Guest Saturday Owl
Not my cup of tea personally, there must be better strikers on the market. Maybe Buddle isn't coming now? January is going to be a long hard month, in a good way.
theowlsman
We need a lift during January and a couple of quality players. Bargain hunting is a thing of the past. If Morrison and Fallon are as good as it is going to get I will not be impressed.
edinburghowl
I'd have my house on him scoring against them if he signs for us. He scored against us last season. He had a really good game too but surely you must be underwhelmed about the possibility of him signing? A handful yes, but quality? I would say no. Not a player that will make an impact in the Championship.
Wednesday-Wonderland
I wouldn't be too devastated if it was only until the end of the season, but I still think we could do better. He's simply not good enough for the vision of what SWFC is hoping to be in the next 5 years.
Bluesteel
He'd probably be a decent addition in the short term, but I understood that we wanted to build a squad for the longer term. I remember him scoring a good overhead kick in a playoff final for Swansea though.
gurujuan
Hey lets not clutch at straws here, he's not good enough for what we should be aspiring to, even this season
