The rumour might come to nothing, but i have to agree. It will kill off a lot of the optimism around the place if after all the excitement and speculation, a proven lump of throw like Fallon is what we end up with. True, but we dont have to fill the back of the programme with gonads players anymore. The manager and chairman have come out and said they want to strengthen, and sign players that will not only win promotion, but compete in the championship. Imagine my horror when a few weeks later we are linked with him. Dear Ipswich, please make the deal permanent. Unfortunately for us, I don't think that will happen.
