Sam779
Maybe he meant psychologically, and for us not to go into next weeks match on the back of a defeat.

Guest Sheff Owl
I think he has been happy with a point in most of the games he has been in charge( after the honeymoon period) it's been that negative.
Guest Deleted member
As imbecilic comments go - it ranks alongside the '2-0 nightmare half time lead' one...
Glaser
So we've had Lee think we could have been safe before the match Vs palace and now Alan thinking a point can help, when it would have still left us relegated, even if we got a draw against Palace on the final day.... god knows what the players are being fed in training !! Only a WIN for us yesterday and Palace not winning tomorrow would leave us needing a draw in the last game. All other combinations meant we have to BEAT Palace. Guest Sheff Owl
My point is AI has had 24 games so far and when he first took over we went on the honeymoon period(like most clubs do) and then after that everything seemed to drop why? if we had gone for it in the early games and TRIED to get the 3 points on the board then we might not be in this mess now, yet instead as the games start dropping we are still playing in the same way. victorturner
A very troubling statement. Fans are bound to wonder. The club just does not inspire coinfidence in its communications with fans.
