Cpt_Hatstand
Is he related to Steve Basford? "at this moment in time" at the end of every other sentence...
Mr Farrell
Nice bloke and a Wednesday legend, but awful commentator. I make more sense drunk.

Utah Owl
Nice bloke and a Wednesday legend, but awful commentator. I make more sense drunk. Maybe he was drunk, most football commentators seem to like the sauce!

Spondon Owl
He sounds like he has no teeth and has decided not to replace them with dentures. All gums.

Saxondale
I've got to say, it was painful listening to him. At one point I had absolutley no idea what he'd just said and had to ask my other half and even she didn't have a clue.

Salmonbones
Terry Curran should leave his legend status alone and realise he has nothing further to offer the game.

Guest harveyhamfeet
Anyone not getting a slagging off on this site recently? Keep up the good work TC. Ignore the moaning gits He said 'erm' at the start and end of every sentence. The worst radio commentary I have ever heard. Even my wife asked who it was and that he sounded 'thick'. Guest FatherTime
I commented during the game he sounds like he has fallen down the stairs and then been hit by a spade. I know he was a fantastic footballer in his day, and I mean no disrespect, but if anyone else turned up at radio sheffield and auditioned for a job commentating on football, with a voice like a special needs deaf kid, crossed with a "how do you think peter beardsly talks",they would not get the job, I turned the radio down when he came on, he also has nothing of interest to offer. Sorry, but he sucks, probably quite literally with his obvious missing teeth.
