does the premier league have a table of average away support? most clubs give between 2-3000 , our away following is the highest in the football league , and its possible we have higher average in attending away games than most premier league clubs

We averaged more away than all Championship clubs, Boro were best in Champonship, considering they are based in North East like Sunderland it is very impressive support.

What about Plymouth..

Probably not much in it but there were very slightly more southern clubs in the league. Then again Sunderland is probably closer to Ipswich than Plymouth is!

There'll be more next season with Exeter, Bristol Rovers and Forest Green, plus potentially Swindon coming up which are relatively local for Plymouth but will be major trips for Sunderland if they don't go up.

So are Wednesdays but smaller home attendees and bigger away attendees

Wednesdays and Sunderland’s couldn’t be much larger.

both clubs sold out nearly every away game which limits numbers.

conversely, the teams near the top of the list will have hardly sold out any allocations and therefore their percentage wasn’t limited by away capacities.

It all depends on who else is in the division

There's not many southern clubs past London in the Championship, other than Bournemouth

There's plenty of midlands teams

I don't know what the travelling support is of both clubs, but I would guess Bournemouth supporters have more travelling to do than Middlesborough

Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.
