United fans are already on this one - they're getting their orders in (including a Neil Warnock one)

Cheers for the funds I say

To be fair I think £25:00 is cheap price.

How much must it cost to do personalised card board cut outs?

And, then,  the logistics of putting them in the stands - and then, the Admin for the arrangement collections?

Cant see the Club making anything out of this.

Bet I couldn’t buy a personal card board cut out for £25:00.

Only to be expected.

Thus, even less profit.

Not worth the bother (from the Clubs perspective) for me.

Just pointing it out to those saying - how much!

To be fair all they have to do is tweet out the link, then put the cardboard cutouts in the stands and take em down again after

They'll be making a fair bit from this don't you worry

SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY ANNOUNCE ' FAN IN THE STAND ' CARDBOARD FAN OFFER

The Championship is set to return on Saturday 20 June and the Owls are offering supporters a unique way to back the boys for the five remaining fixtures here at Hillsborough.

All games will be played behind closed doors - but you can still be represented in S6 by virtue of a correx cut-out of yourself to be displayed in the North Stand.

Our ‘Fan in the Stand’ campaign is designed to fill the seats with familiar faces whilst giving you the chance to play your part in the supporting the club both on and off the pitch from the comfort of your own home!

How it works

1. Put on your game-day gear and upload your photo!
2. Sign up quickly and easily and secure your cut-out for just £25!
3. Watch the game on iFollow and spot for yourself in the stand!

After the season has ended, you can collect your personalised cut-out to keep as a momento of what has already proved a very different Championship campaign.

Bookings are being taken now to secure your seat for the rest of the season, with a deadline of 23:59 on Wednesday, 17 June to guarantee your place as a Fan in the Stand when the Owls host Nottingham Forest on Saturday!

With Father’s Day around the corner this Sunday, what a great way to give your Wednesdayite dad a gift he will remember forever!

See you there, of sorts, and thank you for your support!

Yeah, but they may inspire the team to victory

It's easy money for the club - they don't deal with any of the printing or refunds or enquiries or hassle or anything

The club just needs someone to go and put them out before games, and to take them down at half time and put them away again

Sorted

Fair play to the Club if that’s the case.

Cant see it personally - not at only £25:00 a pop.

More trouble than its worth - as a revenue raiser.

Two minute job that.

Before and after every home game?

Where are they going to store them - in the dug outs?

They literally don't have to do anything other than count the profit

We're talking about a chairman who doesn't accept sponsors because they don't offer enough money to make it worthwhile

Do you think he'd do this if it didn't make the club money?

I don't

I think we're making plenty from it, don't have to put any effort into it, and can just sit back and watch the £££ roll in

Even if only 1000 are sold I reckon we'll make £10000+ easy (minimum)

They cost nothing to make - especially for the company that it's being outsourced to.
