Utter rip off for championship football

Watching football is all about bringing mates together for me. Togetherness.

How can one man pay £23 on South, yet his brother has to pay £43.

There's no wawaw for potg fans.

Potg days are gone.

Wednesday have made it a pretty easy decision for me and no doubt many others, whether to attend or not.

It's sad to read things like that, but it's hard to argue against.

I have a membership and still go when I can - mostly the Saturday games - but plenty of family and friends, some of whom were season ticket holders in the past, have stopped going due to the prices.

Once people are out of the habit of going, it's going to take something special to tempt them back.

The really sad thing is that currently the club don't seem interested in doing so.

You're right. Once you get out of the habit, its easy to stop going i'm afraid.

I've had a ST for over 30 years , but if I didn't, or couldn't afford one , I wouldn't pay those POTD prices , not a chance .

More like, you'd already made the decision not to go, the pricing is just a handy excuse!

Seriously?

How's about the other week when I was back in Sheffield and wanted to go with my dad who is a ST holder on the North?

If it's not the 46 quid that puts me off can you tell me what else it was?

It's definitely not his farts after a pie and bovril.

Not really sure you can blame the club for the north situation.

Ah well, every chance you get eh.

It does. But as you said you have already fallen out the habit, ticket prices or not it its hard to get back in, I agree with you there.

Crowds are obviously down at Hillsborough this season but Wednesday don't seem to want to do anything to address it.

Crowds are at an average level for us over the past 20 years. They've been similar every champ year.

Only promotion or big games will rise it, unfortunately.
