marconi
Preston appealing red card. Didn't expect that. Hopefully resulting in an extra game ban. Edited December 24, 2018 by marconi
Owls2k
Pearson is already banned from 4 games so I'm guessing they think they've got nothing to lose.

Nobody can deny the sending off had a changing effect on the game. That said it was a bad tackle and the intention to take out Mathias was there. The tackle gets worse every time I watch it

Stupid if they try. Cast iron when I saw it and the replays are as bad.
Guest The Horse
I went to Preston once. Grim as fizz. I'd be kicking everyone up in the air if I had to live and work there too.
nevthelodgemoorowl
Pearson was comfortably first to the ball, that should have been the end of the story. My belief is Pearson must have been looking for an extended Christmas holiday as he raised both feet towards an incoming Mattias to the inside of his right knee. The tackle has nothing to do with Pearson getting his red. it was sliding through and lifting both feet (Studs showing) that got him sent off. Almost certain this will be considered a frivolous appeal and will .'. attract a 5 match ban rather than the four at present. A fair % of PNE fans agreed with the Red ! nebneeb
Preston are going to use the following as evidence it shouldn't have been a red card. Because it's clearly lower than this, which wasn't a red.
Beauchief Owl
Pearson's appeal has been turned down so he misses the next four matches, including Rotherham and Doncaster (FA Cup) matches. Quite rightly, IMO.
