He's not only a fan - but a professional athlete who plays for one side of City.

My sympathy for Sharp is very limited - because he’s a complete tool.

You have standards of decency - if brought up properly.

Id feel exactly the same if an Owls player came out with that vitriol.

If my kids, who are Wednesday through and through came out with that, I’d be horrified.

I obviously don' hold "Professional athletes" to the same high standard as you do mate...

I lump 'em in with everyone else

just finished 3rd portion of pie  kin ell it's delicious so much so i cant believe i made it

haven't contributed to this banning thing yet, it goes without saying no one with a modicum of decency would mock a bereaved parent  but an important point is freedom of speech that needs protecting

which doesn't mean someone can slander or accuse without basis

but we cant be having clubs ban someone without declaring the actual reason

blimey can of worms here

When I was kid - in the sixties, it was banter. We all played together - although there were more of us than them.

Never heard the expression “pigs” - don’t know when that emanated.

And, now it’s more than friendly banter from some of the Nutters, from both sides of the City.

And the likes of “ him” exacerbate it.

And now, it’s become “normal”.

Cant beat meat and potato pie.

Ive often said, that if in a Terry Waitesque imprisonment,  in some foreign land, once freed if the embassy said -what do you want on your flight home to Blighty?

The answer would be “meat and potato and hendo’s”.

I wouldn’t order it on death row - because I wouldn’t be hungry.

lol

Nah, they used to eat raw onion down the pit at snap time.

I think it was an early version of “Im a celebrity”.

I’ll give it a miss.

Yes, they often peeled an onion at snap time. I think it’s health and restorative benefits have often been long held in the mining community.

I was a satsuma man myself.

My Mum also used to cut my “packing up” sandwiches, “snap” as I subsequently  found out, into triangles  with kitchen roll too.

I soon put a stop to that.

Door steps and newspaper.

It made me the man I am today.

I love tomato sausage. A guilty pleasure. Don’t like any other “adulterated” sausage.

But I love a good pork sausage, with mash, onion (cooked) and marrowfat peas.

When I lived down south Butchers had never heard of it.

As Asteener posted - Morrison’s is supposed to be good too.
