I thought Carlos got it bang on today.

Nuhiu did what he was on the bench to do when he came on

For tough away games it makes sense to have Nuhiu on the bench, not at home though

Spot on mate, my thoughts exactly.

Whichever way you look at it nuhiu is awful and should be nowhere near the squad

Apparently excellent when he came on yesterday.

And do you ignore the freakish number of goals we score when he comes on?

You think they are being poached?

Freakish? Behave yourself, he's a striker foremost so show me his scoring record? If he told winnall to go on and hold the ball up he would do just that, nuhiu is awful

He's far from awful tho is he I'd hazard a guess he is far better than you.

He may not be the best or score bags of goals but to say he is awful is just not true

142 apps in the second division in england says he's a bit better than awful

lol love the argument that you can't saying anything negative about a professional footballer because they are better at it than the poster.

Act the useless trundle up front?

Spare me the "hold up play specialist" role.

But that's exactly what he did for the short time he was on...as he was asked to do I'm sure....

The freakish amount of times nuhiu has been on the pitch and we've lost the ball or its bounced off him or he forgets the ball, outweighs the 'freakish' amount of goals we supposedly score with him on the pitch

Cardiff home winner

Rotherham home winner

Barnsley home our second

Forest home winner

Brentford away equalizer

Villa home winner

He came off the bench 16 times, to play 252 minutes. So that's an average of 15 minutes per sub appearance, and we scored 6 very important goals. Solely down to Nuhiu? Of course not. But can you argue that he hampered our play when chasing games?

The season before his impact from the bench was even greater.

He only started two matches last season, during our injury crisis. Reading (with Joao) and Preston (with Fletch). Personally I would never start him, but neither Fletch nor Joao would be suitable partners, and the team actually did pretty well when he partnered Hooper in 15/16. We scored an extraordinary amount of goals when he was playing that season.

Just overlooked,  there's gunna be games where it happens

Fletcher and Hooper are gunna take some shifting

We seem to be clicking a bit now, so please please just no rotation. I mentioned in another thread last week. Fletch and Hoops seems to work as a partnership and rhodes/Winnall seem to play well together, so for me keep it as is and don't start tinkering unless one gets injured or suspended.
