dorian gray Posted December 22, 2013 Share Posted December 22, 2013 If MM had made clear from the start what he is doing now, would we have bought into him ? i don't think he hid what he was in it for... i knew from the start what his plans were... what we didn't understand was the amount of funding to be injected into squad building (and neither did megson)... having been promoted, the limited funding available in jones first closed season, added to jones miracle run in against the pigs, made milan believe that all sorts of things were possible under jones... AT THIS POINT, i believe that milan who if he had added a bit of quality with his capital would have had a saleable product, decided to go for bigger and better things under his miracle manager... as a side in or around the play-off's would be worth far more than one struggling, and who knows what could happen, look at southampton... then jones showed his achilles heel, he bought a cart load of shyte and a couple of decent signings, instead of up to half a dozen decent signings... the rest is a very shitty history...
