DuttyTeabags
Funny how the majority of the threads this morning are about how weak our CM is, lack of creative midfielder, no guile, Madine sh*te. Look back on the last time we played proper football with a playmaker (with pace) either carrying the ball, putting in proper crosses and supplying the strikers (look at Madine's goals in L1 and the supply lines (ahem) which created them. He looked proper class in the pre-season game with WBA before he did himself - and that's Prem opposition. Never get's a look in again. He's a better player than Coke and Prutton baked together in a tandoori clay oven. It'll be the same with Maguire - any footballer that shows a decent footy brain and a bit of guile on the ball is overlooked for either a sprinter or a giant. Poor. Onedog23
We should consider ourselves lucky we had a mutual agreement to get him off the wage bill not be complaining that he has gone. CM is certainly an area that needs to be strengthed but lines wasn't anywhere near the man to do that.
