Tell you what, I'll bet you twenty quid, to a charity of your choice, that Doncaster Rovers don't win promotion under Brian Flynn. He hasn't mananged a club side for nine years, and him getting the manager's job is Donny trying to do thngs on the cheap.

Well done Donny.

Rob Jones their player of the season. Best player in the best team in the division. Could have easily have offered us something at the bottom of the championship and would have been the best leader in our squad.

Wish Madine had accepted the loan offers and COG had stayed, oh how different our fortunes would have been...

Yeah, just imagine what we could have done with CoG and Rob Jones.

Given the quality of League One this season, we might have got promotion sticking with these players.

Best player in League One or Martin Taylor? COG or any other striker we've played this season? Which option offers more?

How many games in League One has Martin Taylor played in his long career?

I would take a few other strikers in the Championship that played against us before having COG back.

Football isn't played on paper and Bothroyd would seem to be a great signing too etc etc. Fact of the matter is Davey's bungled transfer policy gets it wrong more times than right.

So if Davey had not taken over last season, do you think we might have got promoted out of League One this season?

It is a good deal weaker than last season when Davey had to go on his magical run to get us up.

Just imagine where we'd be in the league with a different reserve centre back and a striker as prolific as CoG.

Llera isn't as good defensively or as a leader and COG has outperformed every single striker we have played in every single facet of football.
