Right. On my lap top now and will try to post my song one last time.

As I said, I am convinced it could become a classic celebration of our great victories over our neighbors if it ever gets going???

To the tune from the verse of Sloop John B by the Beach Boys (This City is Our’s is to the tune of the same song but the Chorus part)

Here goes (again!!!)

We beat ‘em at Wem-ber-lee

Two-One back in Ninety-Three

On Boxing Day in Seventy-Nine we got four (oh we got four!)

Then in Twenty-Twelve

We met back down in League One

And just like back then

We beat ‘em again!

Repeat or follow with a rousing chorus of “This City is Ours!”

See link for FC United of Manchester fans singing to this tune (43 seconds in)

Like it!

Guest Go For It Owl

Any of these get sung at brum?

I started 'Lip up fatty' but nobody joined in

'Super Martin Taylor' got going but then he touched the ball and we were drowned out by the boooing

Why song with pigs in?

Because they are our bitter rivals. Even the biggest teams in the world sing about their rivals.

And this particular song celebrates some of our historic victories over them. Victories that are now part of our heritage and should be remembered forever.

What can be better than celebrating the Boxing Day Massacre, Wembley 93 then last season all in one catchy song?

This song needs starting.

'Oh we got four' was just an echo bit for effect but not necessary. The twenty twelve bit does work but hard to explain in words hence the link when I posted the song on page two of this thread. If you looked at that and still don't get it then maybe it only works in my head afterall?
