Just a thought,nothing wrong with the players,its been the the selection and where they play.The youngster's can be "blooded" in this formation. Pensioner and Wednesday supporter from 1945..... beloved_aunt Posted October 13, 2012 Share Posted October 13, 2012 Got to play 2 strikers at home so 4-4-2 Not saying 4-4-2 is right or wrong for us (there's no such thing as a "right" or "good" formation, it all depends on your squad, the opposition, conditions etc) but where does this weird idea that you've "got" to play 2 up front at home, or playing 1 striker is only ever negative come from? Do Chelsea play 2 up front at home? Do Real Madrid? Do Bayern Munich? Do Barcelona? Are they all negative then? Comes accross as a bit moody but can be quality and I am sort of expecting him to score now! Also like Madine and J J, of course I haven't seen them much as a Leeds fan but to me those guys pose attacking threats.. We usually concede although got a clean sheet last time out.
