Roadworks and 50mph average speed cameras on the M62 til you get to the pennines and the traffic is notoriously bad between junction 29 and 26 at rush hour. Always bad near Huddersfield, Ainley Top (Jct 24 - 25) . Also, road works for several miles as you get on M62 from M1 so speed restricted to 50 mph, seems to go on for ever.
