EatMyGOAAAALLLLL
Paulo Regula and Amado, the new Di Canio and Blinker Although I saw both players play, I was a little too young to appreciate Di Canio's excellence when he was at Wednesday. One memory I have of Di Canio was him skinning a Barnsley defender and taking it past the keeper before putting it in the Kop end net, he made football look easy! So confident on the ball. jayzman
Pretty sure Blinker came as a replacement for Andy Sinton. Sinton was an early contender for the 'wasn't he a good player until he signed for Wednesday' award. Blinker was nt much better in my view. Di Canio was an awesome talent just as we started the downhill fall. Imagine if we had had him with the early nineties team around him.
Owls_about_that
Carbone & Di Canio the best players I have ever seen in a Wednesday shirt. Good as they were Waddle and Nilsson were the best I've seen

Tramowl
Carbone & Di Canio the best players I have ever seen in a Wednesday shirt. Totally agree. Whenever I think of the pair of them it excites me. They were always 2 moves ahead of the rest of the team. Its salutory to think it was 15 years ago, and what the club and we as supporters, have gone through. The good times are on the way back methinks
OntarioOwl
hi, first post to this day funniest thing i EVER saw at football was DiCanio pushing Paul Alcock to the floor. Yes it hastened his exit because Dave Richards is a nobfaced idiot but it was funny all the same. Edited July 7, 2012 by OntarioOwl
