It might take a couple of seasons to do this. So some of the current squad players might still be around eg Beevers, Bennett, D.Jones, Prutton, O'Grady, M.Jones, Palmer. I might be surprised though especially with the amount of players we have been linked with. beloved_aunt Posted May 28, 2012 Share Posted May 28, 2012 I think it would be a bit too much to ask to come out of the transfer window with a perfect squad of 22 Championship quality players. I think we need to prioritise getting a Championship first team, then hopefully if we do well with injuries (as we have done for a couple of seasons now) we might be able to go on a good run with the likes of Rob Jones, David Prutton and Ryan Lowe only needed in emergencies. By next season we then can shuffle the squad a bit more so hopefully have a stronger squad of Championship players. Think this is a viable plan to achieve promotion in the next 3 years or so.
