parkfieldowl14
I'm still a bit shaken up, I was involved in a violent mugging last night, but on the plus side at least I made a few quid nice one.

parkfieldowl14
Adams park is horrendous for parking it's at the end of an industrial estate I went couple of years back was a nightmare. Gigg Lane is a nice little ground and shall be a good trip next season. along with the other 5,000 plus owls fans.HERE!HERE!
brian joicey
Last time i went to gigg lane we won 3-1, back in the heady days of the seventies. only ever been once.. needed a point for promotion (86?)... and we lost 1-

Pulsar
only ever been once.. needed a point for promotion (86?)... and we lost 1-0 I'm pretty certain we were doing well in the old Division 1/Premier back then. Do you mean '76?
Guest totemowl
This isn't Big Guns, you're using grammar and spelling correctly It'd be grammar what did the mugging. Gave out a good hiding I reckon.
parkfieldowl14
wee wee up in Manc then a tram to the ground. Sounds good to me. better a one hour drive to bury than be stuck on a coach for 10 hours to plymouth .
Bez
Bury preseason was great recently. From Bolton i have these away days to enjoy: Bury 10mins Rochdale 25mins Oldham 35mins Preston 35mins Tranmere 50mins And maybe Accrington?!

parkfieldowl14
Wouldn't it make better sense for Bury just to have the Away end and just give us rest of the ground as we are going to outnumber them 4 to1 next season?
parkfieldowl14
We'd be best off getting the 'L' shaped stand and them having the two separate ones. Although as we all know now they're promoted more fans will want to watch them. Think we'll get 3,000 for their I"d say about 4,000 at most. parkfieldowl14
I t will depend on when the game is and how we are doing if we are going well demand will be very high not somewhere we have visited in the league very often. i think our last league game there was back in the1979/80 season. Utah Owl
only ever been once.. needed a point for promotion (86?)... and we lost 1-0 It was 1980, I was at that one! Hillsborough was used that day as well for a Semi-Final (Man Utd v Arsenal I think).
