TOMC Posted March 29, 2011 Share Posted March 29, 2011 Week after week we get the same idiots posting Megson out, Megson clueless etc etc , Some even commenting on Mandaric now. This rumblein mess is all down to the players not the management, the players !. These players do not want to play for this football club, they don't give a throw if we go down. There gone in the summer and they know it. We can change the manager but it isn't going to make a difference. People will just be calling for his head after 6-10 games. We can't keep changing manager after manager. No other manager is going to come anywhere near this job. Megson will turn this club around with his players. We have a good manager who is passionate about this club. We need to somehow see this season out and get to the summer and rid the club of the virus that is the so called players. No intention of beating a player, passing too early ( before THEY are closed down), no intention of making chances. Only one player who can beat someone, and he often seems to sulk. That is a tactical disaster thats the thing,is megson not accountable for dire selections, he has brought in 3 loanee,,,added to weaver,spurr,beevers,madine,heffernan,mellor,,coke,miller,,o"conner,osbourne,,,, i think there is a team of players there,who do care,,,,its not that simple,,,just like it wasnt as simple as just being irvine fault early season people want simple explinations,when i honestly think its a combo of many factors,,,thru all the messing wih the team 1,new(and old) players being deepy unsure of there roles in the team 2,megson making far too many changes,to expect any sort of cohesiveness,, 3.megson making bizzare decisions like playin pootter on the right 4,players not being able to deal with the pressure,and looking lost i really wish we had just biten our tougue and lwt irvine get on with it,,,he might have not got us the top 6 positon,,but i honestly think we would have been top 10 minimum,,and building for next year Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Feel sorry for some, but the for majority it's just another evening nearer the next pay packet. is it really a case that these players are totally to blame?,, i can name many players who were played "for" irvine,and had a strong first 25 games of the season weaver,,has been great early season,, buxton,when fit,was our best defender early semi,always looked a natural rb,and has real pace ,,coke tried his heart out,and became one the 1st names on the team sheet teale,,was my favourite player under irivn,looked fitter,more motivated,and a constant threat,,(now looks rubbish,yet is the one player not being dropped and reselected every wek??bizare) miller,worked hard for the team all year,, mellor 14goals in 24 games,has been quality before his injury,,,obviusly loed wkring under irvine,now not given a chance,dispight his record this year) they all seema shadow of themselves,,, what the hell is going on in training?? Some of players aren't as good as we thought they were when first signed. 2. Players not trained effectively/not playing to their strengths under previous regime. 3. Megson not getting best out of players/treading a fine line with his critcism of players in public. 4. Questions have to be raised as to whether our training and coaching facilities are up to scratch. I was shocked when it was revealed that we didn't have any scouts and it makes you wonder just what else was wrong behind the scenes. Our our training facilities good enough?
