The 1st year pros at our club will be on a similar amount IMO. I am not ITK at all but I would would guess that only a handfull of our players would be on more than £200k a year (£4k per week). Surprised the heck out of me. The thing to remember is that it is an average figure. It is probably skewed by young players on £200 a week. The average for an established league two player is probably a little higher. Then again, I would happily take a wage cut to play pro football for a living. Not sure how true, but it sounds about right. 22k according to Baggiehy our friend from West Brom. He was apparently offered a bit more by Sunderland but he "compromised" and took the two year deal at Birmingham (West Brom offered a year) because he didn't want to move his family.
