Fibonacci91
Have we looked more likely to score with 2 up top. Does it show a real lack of understanding to constantly clamour for 2 strikers, because 'its more attacking.' Have some insight into the game, don't just see 2 strikers instead of 1 and claim it is more attacking. Is a flexible 4-5-1 / 4-3-3 not more attacking when we go forward, with 3 forward players and 1 if not 2 central midfielders supporting with Hutch remaining back. I would be building around Rhodes, if we can rely on him scoring 20 then we don't need 2 strikers. I would be looking to dominate games with Hutch, Lee and Bannan all in the centre and 1 striker with Nando on one of the wings and hopefully a new winger coming in. NorthernOwl
The problem is all of our strikers need a partner to do well. None of them are suited to the lone front man role. Maybe we could get away with a front 3 but I still don't think that would get the best out of Rhodes.

ReluctantNicko
Burnley...Vokes and Ings in 2013/14. Burnley...Vokes and Gray in 2015/16. 4-4-2 = automatic promotion.

Not only were we more prolific we looked more like the team of last season than this. The key to playing two up top is having a partnership, that's what we've lacked all season until those 6 games with Hooper and Fletcher.

Didn't score one goal until Rhodes came off the bench in every one of those games (or started away at QPR). Has to be Rhodes and Hooper up front with nando on the left next season. That will scared the life out of most opposition.

Then use Fletcher as a plan B

Morepork
4-4-2 can win this league others have proved it, we can and have played well with 2 forwards, you just need the right players in the right positions. I realise how blatantly obvious that sounds but at times you wouldn't think so. We have several great players that are more suited to other styles of play, if we aren't going play in those styles we'd be better getting rid.
