  1. Oh and most importantly SET A BUDGET. Like this is a manager that can maximise his budget, but that can only happen if he KNOWS WHAT HE IS WORKING WITH. I cannot abide the idea that DC claims he is playing 4d chess by not setting a budget and assessing it on a case-by-case basis... you have to be a real, real thick turd to think that's any way to do things.
  2. Honestly if DC sells to a group with actual financial clout and a plan he could even see some money back. "I will sell at X price if I get Y% of TV money for the first couple of years if you ever get promoted". Much more likely to happen from other investors than himself, that's for sure. Röhl with some money does not guarantee success but I think it almost certainly guarantees improvement vs the last 4 years. We've been gifted a man that has worked from the bottom up at, structurally, one of the best clubs in world football. We realistically couldn't ask for a better manager in the second tier to facilitate a modernisation of the club. It would be almost too good to be true if this somehow worked out. Which is why my head says it will be. Hope the heart wins.
  3. What in the ever loving christ is that monstrosity of a first graph
  4. Heart says it's on. Head says even if it were on, Chansiri would make the deal impossible. Reality bites.
  5. But also: imagine what Daddy Röhl could do with even a third of that 2015/16 budget
  6. Neil dropping the propaganda now there's a takeover rumours...
  7. This is such a left field, rogue interjection, that I'm now gonna blindly believe it
  8. Yeah, to his credit even if he isn't scoring he contributes a lot and plays "in the right way" as it were. If we stay up I'd hope we would be in a shout of signing him... I still think long term being able to call on a front three of Gassama, Musaba and Ugbo would do the damage more often than not at this level.
  9. Does it actually matter if Plymouth lose or draw? Either way the maths stays the same in terms of final day results because of our GD. Correct me if I'm wrong but as long as they don't win it's equally "good" for us.
  10. He has the sort of arrogance that can sometimes be the difference maker in big games. You have to credit him for that
  11. I do not care for Coventry one bit, but this is absolutely devastating. An unreal level of cruel that
  12. I have seen some bonkers moments of football today...
