With the substantial increase in the number of live matches, Sky Sports and the EFL will introduce a new commitment for clubs and fans which will provide longer notice periods on TV selections. The defined notice periods will enable clubs and fans to plan further in advance and this will include the placement of all live matches selected for broadcast for the period to FA Cup third round before the start of the season. Greater parity in the number of times that clubs are selected for TV coverage is also guaranteed.

I’ve no idea how the ground is actually valued etc - but wouldn’t that valuation also take into account if the ground was demolished and the land developed for housing for example? So might that be a reason the valuation doesn’t fall - because if they went down that option the future houses built on the land would be worth more as house prices increase? As I said. No idea on this just a guess.

I’ve heard from 2 reliable people (one of whom you know well) that the club have been quoted £17m for work that needs doing, primarily to the roof. Nothing was said if it was due to be closed or if the work wasn’t done it’d be unsafe

Heard from a couple of very reliable sources - close to the club. North Stand roof needs a lot of money spending on it. I’ve been told (but not checked if it’s correct) that ST’s for next season include a condition that the ST holder can be reseated to another stand if required
