  1. Yes we have under Lukuhay. It may have been 3-1. It was that time when Nuhiu and Joao were scoring for fun. Mystifies me why he broke that strike pairing up the following season. It worked very well and the two of them were rarely injured. As for the run-in, it’s all about us. It always has been to a point. A packed Hillsborough with Wednesday fans on the Lepp, every chance of a win. It wouldn’t guarantee safety but it would put pressure on the teams around us maybe even Stoke and QPR despite the obvious GD advantage they have over us.
  2. I think we’ve finished bottom of this league for the last 2/3 seasons so all in all not a lot to complain about this time around.
  3. As always see if DC is in the directors box on Saturday. If he isn’t then that suggests to me he’s on his way?
  4. As reliable as the system the Post Office used in the recent scandal.
  5. Thing is I think we have a similar situation now with Bailey Cadamarteri. The manager didn’t just select him for the first team but gave him a sustained run in the side. On top of that an acceptable new contract was signed by both parties. This could’ve and probably should’ve happened with George Hirst but for whatever reason it didn’t.
  6. It wouldn’t be a takeover thread without some of the replies I’ve seen today. It’s history repeating itself just like 15 years of Tory rule
  7. Pretty relaxed about it TBH. I think Chansiri’s time here is coming to an end however it happens? I mean you can’t keep running the club how he has been and not see things come to a point of no return whether it’s financial, relationship with the fans, whatever? I’m just focusing on the last 2 games. Staying up is key to things changing for the better here as the fans will struggle to get behind yet another campaign in League 1.
  8. This relegation battle has swung one way and the other from week to week as has the mood of some posters on here. There has been weeks where I’ve thought we were done but then I’ve had this nagging feeling that we’ve come too far to fall short now. One thing I do find laughable is some of the criticism Röhl gets. He’s made one or two questionable decisions as all managers do but to have us where we currently are given the sh!tshow he inherited is some achievement. Staying up would mark him out as a manager to keep an eye on.
  9. If they can lose 3-0 at Birmingham they can get stuffed at Blackburn. If we stop up I want us to smash them tw@ts next season and I have ultimate trust in Röhl to outwit every ball person’s favourite manager next season.
  10. We seem to apply the press well in the younger age group teams. This should give Röhl some encouragement going forward.
  11. Of the teams above 21st Plymouth are the ones that are more likely to drop. Blackburn will get 3 points against Coventry. Goal difference will keep both QPR and Stoke up should they fail to pick up another point.
  12. They won’t listen to me George. I can’t stand the tw@ts. I was one of the very few on here wanting Man Utd to win the semi-final.
  13. Barring a disaster West Brom are already in the play-offs. As has been said already it’s all about us as we need the points more.
