Well there's a surprise.

Waited weeks to sign him and then just let him go back after a few games (which that what it takes to get players fit).

Are you kidding? He looks 2 stone overweight. Will take more than a few games to get him fit. Try 6 months and an alcohol ban.

did nt really show anything. Seemed like a panic loan although stories that we were chasing him for a while are a little surprising given what we got from him

Older pro or raw untried youngster who's next

Aye. It seems baffling to wait weeks to sign him and then decide either he isn't what we need, good enough etc it's not like we didn't know his fitness levels, weight and whatever before he joined.

Bit of a waste really.

I am told by the resident experts on these things, that Milan is doing a great job in trying to turn the club around. He now seems to be focusing on improving commercial revenues. We've never had it so good etc.

Presumably, the plan is to be able to upgrade on our loan strategy at some point? Maybe get someone slightly better than GTF in the striker department next time around, and perhaps for 2-3 months? Who knows, as our revenues increase ten fold, perhaps we can even aspire to bringing in a 20 goals a season striker on a permanent basis, one of our own. Now that would be a nice treat.
