Hirstys_12th_Pint
Not sure if mentioned elsewhere but for those travelling to Man City the Woodhead Pass is shut from 8pm that evening. Just in case people were planning on coming home that way.
bradowl
Noticed signs for this coming back from Bolton. So it's Snake pass or M62 coming back.

hasthagotanycheese
Used to work over that side of the hills. The best option by far is to go thru Holmfirth. Pick up the A635 and it will take you right over Saddleworth Moor and bring you out eventually at Flouch. Sorted.

I live around 5 miles from City's ground, the Holmfirth route is the one I use when I drive to Sheffield, its a lot quicker than Woodhead/Snake for me. Charles Monkey
Owls from South Sheffield area would be better taking the Stoney Middleton route.

Be careful up that way, stick to the roads and paths, there's an American Werewolf roaming about. If there's a full moon stay well away.
Owl In Black
You can go to srockport and head for sheffield via a6 and chapel en le frith and go over that way. Puts you at the end of snake. Also lot less traffic and lorries that way.
