Emerson Thome
Average positions vs Blackburn Rovers. We did well to win with that gaping hole at the heart of our defence.... Vaulks (No. 4) isn't shown, I believe he's hidden underneath Ihiekwe (20), who is partly underneath Bannan (10).
Flat Owl
It’s the Smodics Solution cos the rest of the Blackburn side are crâp…. Edited April 22 by Flat Owl
alanharper
The average position for Ihiekwe's 15 minutes on the pitch.
WalworthOwl
Great map, thanks for posting! I was wondering if there were changed instructions for the second half. First half our midfield and attack had no connection, our midfield never got decent possession with a chance to look up and pick a pass. Then we looked really cohesive in the second half. Did Danny get the forwards dropping more to connect with the midfield in the second half?
Owlmanac
Probably because we had to keep subbing the middle CB due to injuries!

Geörge Whitebread
These make a bit more sense (the top one showing subs in place of anyone the came on for) Bambo where you'd expect him and Dom sat deeper with Blackburn pressing to get back into the game while he was on. Ihiekwe's position looks daft. But how much football was actually played with him on the pitch? Szmodics was down for a while, we were on top for a while, they hit us on the break, then Ihiekwe was down for a while. The ball was probably in play for less than 10 minutes before he was subbed. Extra security of five at the back, outnumber them with 3 in midfield and still space for a 3-man trident in attack.

The worrying this is we can have 12 players and STILL not have a left wing!
