Carlos Kaiser was on the books of 13 different clubs throughout his career though never made a single appearance. He would feign injury, speak into a toy phone pretending to turn down offers from other clubs and made friends with many top footballers who would vouch for his ability. The one time he nearly had to go onto the pitch he started a fight with a fan while warming up and got himself sent off. Perhaps unsurprisingly this all took place in Mexico and South America.
