Without a doubt as I was considering Tony Kay ie ine of th if not the hardest half back/midfielders ever but Keane IMO was harder and that’s what a team requires but as I stated originally it’s only my opinion

I think I’d go with Souness before Keane in that role and Brian Robson too

I'd beat this team by exploiting the lack of tackling and work-rate in midfield. Play 5 across the midfield with a couple of hard-working ball players and isolate Waddle up against Maldini:

..........................................Springett.......................................

.Nilsson...........Lyons....................Walker...............Megson..

.Waddle..........Wilson.........Palmer.........Kay..........Di Canio..

Love it but danny wilson just made the greatest team of all time…. Brilliant

best agent maybe

I'll put the same limit on myself, this team is only based on players I've seen live (and you've already nicked Nilsson and Waddle). I think you'll have a revolt before kick-off telling Stanley Matthews he is playing centre midfield with just Bobby Charlton for company. Carlton Palmer will have him for breakfast. Was going to pick Carbone, but with Alan Hansen stuck out at left back I think having Antonio to power past him will be best.

...........................................Woods.........................................

.Hunt...................Walker................Loovens..........Hinchcliffe.

.................Sheridan............Palmer..........Bannan....................

..Antonio............................Bright.............................Di Canio.

I have to say, that would be some match!

I'd probably put Matthews wide right with George Best in the middle with Bobby Charlton... Matthews versus Hinchcliffe and Waddle versus Hunt would be "no contests", I think!
