Yes.

Don't panic. 11 games in to the season and just signed 13 new players. Change the manager and we get the whole shítty cycle again we've had since Carlos left. Each manager taking us lower and lower down the league and a load of players who don't fit the new managers plans.

If we were doing terribly we should make a change, but we're 1 point outside the playoffs with the 2nd best defence in the league. A lot of the pundits who know this league had Wednesday in midtable going into the start of the season.

The pundits were making mid table predictions prior to us signing lots of players.

98 minutes were played. We had about 15 of those minutes during which we scored. Bolton were unlucky to say the least.

i dont think they were unlucky more careless like we were at morecambe..........theres nothing unlucky by being the better team and forcing just  one good save out the goalkeeper

Agree its a squad game, but we have a poor squad.

Which is baffling because on paper this is a Championship squad... other L1 teams would kill for some of these players, so why aren't they living up to their expectations??

This is why Laws has been out of work for 8 years. There is no concept of a best side these days. It is a squad game. The best teams in the country - Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea, etc. all have a group of at least 20 players who can come in and play different roles.

And although League One is a different level of football - the same issues - injuries, fatigue, changing tactics depending on the opposition, all influence things. Our best side to play Bolton will be different to our best side to play Morecambe.

Agree about changing personnel to suit the opposition, but nevertheless a team has to have a structure.

Each player has to know what he is doing in that team, and the team has to have an approach suited to the level it's playing at.

Moore is confused both on the pitch and off it, and, considering that this team has been recruited by him, that's a big worry.

We're in trouble.

To be fair I think I would be able to guess more starting players week in week out for Liverpool snd City than I could for Wednesday !
