A Loan Watch Special

Recommended Posts

I've just noticed Cam's debut is being shown live on youtube - Exeter v Shrewsbury

It's half time now with Exeter trailing 2-0

2nd half gets underway around 4pm

Does this link work?

yep, seems to

Anyroad, we're all rooting for Cam this season aren't we?

Can't really blame him for either goal tbf - he was exposed for the first one and a decent finish for the second

Plus Shrewsbury look the better side

Might do Dawson the world of good this loan move. Difficult cross just came in and he palmed it away under pressure. At Hillsborough, with the general feeling amongst fans now strongly weighted towards neither him or Wildsmith being good enough, it would have been classed as flapping / not managing his area. This has snowballed, so both keepers are under massive pressure at Wednesday. The commentator said he dealt with it well!

I think Dawson was hung out by Lukhay. Both him and Wildsmith should have been opportunities to go out on loan and develop in a less pressurised environment. Another example of us mis-managing players imo.

Hopefully the move will get his confidence up and he'll come back to fulfil that early potential.

Galvin started his first match for Gloucester in the league yesterday, drawing 2-2 with Stockport County.

Hunt made his first appearance for Grimsby in a 2-1 pre-season loss against Chesterfield.

Dawson lost 3-0 with Exeter.

Looked at the Grimsby fans forum and they said Hunt looked a class above what they have and seemed to play a bit further forward in midfield than he has for us. Hope he can have a good season there as he’s a clear ‘footballer’ - pity he’s so slight of build. Regular men’s football will toughen him up.

Yes and there's still time for him to fill out a bit.
