And it’s a mini group of games where you have to just go for it - we are in position now where we can go out swinging and sometimes that just works

If we take the middle block of those 9 games you've highlighted, we get 13 points from those seven games. Stick that on to our current total and that's 48 points.

 

Even if we can emulate the form you've highlighted, we're short of that 49-50 points... and we're hoping one of Brum, Coventry, Huddersfield and Derby pick up <5 points from their remaining 5/6 games.

 

It's not impossible, but it's so so desperate.

Looking at it differently, by Saturday at 5pm it might be in our own hands to finish above Derby. We win, they draw, it’s in our hands.

Fully accepted relegation now for a while. Even during Thompson's great run we were still rarely out the bottom 3. 

 

The games under TP have killed us this season.
