Yep good old JT tried to mutiny because he was peeved he wasn't captain

 

Created a north v south split

Wasn't it something to do with Capello's rules at the England hotel. Some players didn't like them, too strict and they all put their prima-donna panties on

JT and some of the team decided they wanted a beer or something.

 

By all accounts, JT was about as popular as a kick in the nuggets anyway.

It's interesting, though, that Capello claimed he quit England because of how JT was treated by the FA after the Ferdinand affair, implying that JT was his man.
