Can’t say I was much into soul but Wilson Pickett eh?

We’ve (I) have lived through some great times and artists.

Proper music.

Absolute golden age for music. It started in the 50's but really all happened in the 60's and 70's!

My top three Rod Stewart records are:

1) Maggie May

2) Stay With Me - The Faces

3) In A Broken Dream - Python Lee Jackson

Make of that what you will!

Yes, I’d go with that.

Having a battle with the wife now - Baby Jane FFS.

Some Soul Sister, she is.

(Probably liked the Leopard Skin Tights).

Yeah great sound..

Think he's done a lot of good stuff over the years tbh

He certainly has and he does a residency twice a year just down the road in Vegas so might go check it out.

Well, I’ve really enjoyed this “this blast from the past”.

Its evoked some great memories - sincerely.

And, confirmed my senility.

Off for a shower - dinner beckons.

But, thanks. I’ll catch up with it later.

Tonight’s the night then !!

Went to Buxton in the 70's reyt 2-day concert, Faces, New York Dolls (don't think they turned up though...cant remember)   and some others who I cant remember...in those days acid tabs were only 25p

Then just after the Alex Harvey Band / Dr Feelgood, Manchester trade Hall...

Then chance to see Queen in Brum I think, but couldn't afford cos I was going to watch Wednesday at some godforsaken place....so I never got the chance again to see Queen...

Fooookin Wednesday lol
