evening fellow FH critique squad

as forecast meat and potato pie with raw onion  and tbf it was rushed and not my best

feck me that well known off road rat run tinsley roundabout is rammed wtf!?

Jos writing in as 'lewis' there

Chips, home made steak and kidney pie, (with suet crust - out of the freezer) and peas.

Put it in a Heath Robinson, Ban Marie, to stop it going rubbish in the oven (good for re-heating pies, lasagne etc).

With gravy - in honour of Leon who scored last night.

Bloody Hell - mainly, only me and you tonight.

And, you’ve killed both bloody threads now.

No idea what any bugger is having for their tea now.

Well done Tim.

Was Hanover Way rammed?

I’m going to have to stop drinking and start concentrating.

I really don't buy the argument that Chansiri is in this for the money; that his investment is done with a view to reaping the megabucks of the Prem.

For one, he has to get us up there and then there's the issue of having to invest further to ensure the club stays in the Prem (easier said than done).

As they say: one of the best ways for rich men to lose money is by investing in a football club.

I appreciate that we had Milan, but I'd consider him a bit of an exception to the rule, a bit of a specialist when it comes to buying and selling on football clubs.

Needless to say, Chansiri hasn't adopted the Milan approach :duntmatter:

For me, SWFC is Chansiri's vanity project. His toy on the side to show off to his mates "I've got a Premier League football club etc". Not saying that's right, just how I view things.

yes but not mutually exclusive

what makes a son of a billionaire wake up one morning and think-  i'll not go into the family business whole hog like my big bro, what the heck can I do to look good ?  I know feck all about football but how hard can it be  if i get into sh*te I'll just buy my way out of it

Of course Chansiri is in it for his own ends.

Why else would someone from the other side of the world invest in us?

He's simply invested in the hope of a bumper financial return.

Mandy was too, it's just that he realized that he didn't have the money to get us to the so-called promised land and make the resulting financial killing.

Personally I have no problem with that if it gets us further up the football pyramid, and the alternative to this system is no longer viable.

The snag is that he's backed his horse without knowing anything about the Turf.

Absolutely spot on.

Mansfield Mick, I may have misheard him, and if so feel free to correct me but I'm sure he said he was at Hillsborough for the Play Off game against Brighton. Well I remember that evening (who doesn't it was great) and I remember the Football Heaven before and listening in the car and Mick was one of the callers. Rob Staton was presenting and he jokingly asked if he was attending the game as he always did and he said he wasn't and me and my dad had a good laugh at Rob and Andy (I think it was Andy) taking the Michael out of him about not attending any matches. Again could be wrong, maybe he's got his Brightons and Brentfords mixed up.
